For many universities, education for social and environmental sustainability exists in certain courses and degree programs, yet to achieve the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals, sustainability needs to be embedded into the university’s purpose, vision, and culture, and across all degree programs.
